By accessing this website or booking services with NANNIA, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services Provided
NANNIA provides childcare services in Sofia, including but not limited to:
- On-call childcare
- In-home childcare
- Child pick-up services
- Short-term and emergency care
- Overnight care
Services are delivered by independent caregivers engaged by NANNIA on a freelance/subcontractor basis.
Service availability depends on caregiver availability, location, and scheduling constraints.
2. Nature of Service
NANNIA acts as a service provider coordinating childcare services through independent caregivers.
Caregivers are not employees of the family, and NANNIA is not responsible for establishing an employment relationship between caregivers and parents.
3. Booking & Payments
- Bookings are confirmed only upon written confirmation via SMS or email.
- A minimum booking duration of 2 hours applies.
- Prices are communicated and agreed prior to service delivery.
- Payments are made via bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed.
- Unless specified otherwise, payment is due immediately after the service.
Late or missing payments may result in refusal of future bookings.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations should be made as early as possible.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the booked time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to €10.
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in limited or refused access to future services.
NANNIA reserves the right to apply flexibility on a case-by-case basis.
5. Responsibilities of Parents
Parents/guardians agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the child(ren)
- Share emergency contact details
- Disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements
- Ensure a safe and appropriate environment for the caregiver
- Remain reachable during the service period
Failure to provide accurate information may affect service quality and liability.
6. Responsibilities of NANNIA
NANNIA commits to:
- Engaging qualified and vetted caregivers
- Ensuring a professional standard of service
- Providing clear communication regarding bookings
- Maintaining confidentiality and protecting personal data in accordance with GDPR
7. Scope of Care
- Caregivers provide non-medical childcare services only
- They are not authorized to perform medical procedures or administer medication unless explicitly agreed and clearly instructed
- Services may include care for up to 4 children, depending on circumstances
8. Emergency Situations
In the event of an emergency:
- Caregivers will make reasonable efforts to contact the parent/guardian immediately
- If the parent cannot be reached, the caregiver is authorized to take appropriate action to ensure the child’s safety, including contacting emergency services
Parents remain ultimately responsible for decisions regarding the child’s medical care.
9. Liability
NANNIA shall not be held liable for:
- Pre-existing medical or psychological conditions
- Incidents resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by parents
- Events outside the reasonable control of the caregiver
- Actions taken independently by freelance caregivers beyond agreed scope
NANNIA maintains professional standards and holds liability insurance, where applicable.
10. Force Majeure
NANNIA shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- Traffic disruptions
- Illness
- Accidents
- Natural events or emergencies
11. Changes to Terms
NANNIA reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
